Privacy policy
Updated October 18, 2026QRtesy Play is operated by MD Enterprise. Contact makeda@qrtesy.com with privacy questions or access, correction, and deletion requests.
Information you provide
Drafts and purchase-management keys are saved in your browser. When you publish, QRtesy Play stores your game’s names, messages, questions, answers, gift descriptions, gift links, collection instructions, and any avatar images included in that game. We also store an order identifier, payment-session reference, payment status, and the buyer email supplied at checkout for purchase delivery and recovery.
The face-photo piñata demo keeps your selected photo in that browser preview. It is not uploaded by the demo. Photos included in a published quest or gift hunt are stored as part of that game.
Payment and service providers
Stripe handles checkout and card information. QRtesy Play does not store your full card number. When purchase emails are enabled, Resend processes the buyer email address and purchase links to deliver that email. Our hosting and storage providers process requests and game data to deliver the site; infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs. External fonts and gift links contact their respective providers. Those providers apply their own privacy policies.
Game activity
For purchased games, QRtesy Play records the first time the recipient link is opened, play starts, and a gift is revealed. The buyer can view these milestones. These records do not identify the player or prove gift collection. QRtesy Play’s activity records do not store players’ answers, precise location, or IP addresses. Owner visits are excluded when recognized in that browser.
Sharing and retention
Anyone with a game link or quest code can see its content. Avoid private or sensitive information. We use stored data to deliver and support games, manage purchases, and prevent misuse. We do not sell game content or use it for targeted advertising. Game and order records are retained to provide access and support; contact us to request deletion. Payment records may need to be retained for accounting or legal obligations. Removing a game disables its link; copies already shared or saved by others may remain.
Children and your choices
Adults create and purchase games. Children should play with a parent or guardian’s involvement and should not submit personal information to us. Creators should use a nickname and avoid identifying details where possible. A parent or guardian can contact us to review or request removal of a child’s information. Clearing browser storage removes local drafts and access keys, so save your private recovery file first.
